Join us every Friday during lunch in room 2409 to hear from environmental presenters and participate in crafts, clean-ups and general environmental shenanigans.

A little about Ms. Bakowski

Ms. Bakowski received a Bachelors in Science degree from the University of Florida in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation with a focus in Biology Education and a Minor in Sustainability. She began her career in education at the Florida Museum of Natural History writing curriculum for education programs. She then moved into the classroom 12 years ago, teaching Earth science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and AP Biology at a high school in St. Petersburg, FL. She made the move to Seattle to be closer to family and she's very happy to be a part of the team at Shorewood High School! This will be her 8th year at Shorewood, teaching Physical Science, Biology and AP Environmental Science.
