TEACHER BIO

This is my seventeenth year at Shorewood High School and my current teaching assignment is IPS Honors and Chemistry. I graduated from St. Louis University in 1997 with a BS in Geology, minoring in Environmental Science. In 2001, I earned an MS in Geology from Western Washington University and published a paper on the tectonics and paleomagnetics of the Cooper Mountain Pluton in the Canadian Journal of Earth Sciences. I completed my teaching certification in 2003 with endorsements in General Science and Earth Science. In 2008, I earned my National Board Certification in AYA Science, specializing in Earth & Space Sciences.
