ParentSquare for Paraeducators
ParentSquare
All paraeducators should have access to ParentSquare as an employee in Shoreline Schools. However, the features available to you are determined by several factors:
- Group membership
- Group permissions (e.g., can members post, or only group owners?)
For example, classroom groups are automatically created using the master schedule in Skyward. While you may be assigned to a classroom to provide in-person support, if you are not listed in Skyward as a co-teacher, you will not be able to post content to the course in ParentSquare. If you need the ability to post information in a class or for a selected group of students/families, talk to your registrar about setting up a group for this purpose, or request that the classroom teacher submit a helpdesk ticket to add you as a co-teacher in ParentSquare.
